Tenor onstage. Director in rehearsal. Teacher in the studio. Three rooms, same job… read the room, then show up for it.
I came to music the long way around. I quit it once, came back to it on my own terms, and now I'm in this field on purpose.
These days the work happens in three rooms. Onstage as a tenor and actor, mostly musical theater. In rehearsal as a director, early in that book and growing it. In the studio as a voice teacher and guitar teacher.
"Confidence is built by surviving the moment
the plan falls apart."
I sing. I act. I direct. I teach voice. I teach guitar. The long way around turned out to be the way in.
